When Grief Opens the Door to Healing

When Grief Opens the Door to Healing

She came to see me because of a disabling illness.

More than anything, she wanted to understand what her body was trying to tell her.

During our first session, we focused on calming her anxious mind. As we worked together, she began to see connections between her past experiences, the choices she had made throughout her life, and the state of her health.

Over the following weeks, her energy gradually improved. She felt lighter and more hopeful.

Then the anxiety returned.
When she came back, she was carrying not only physical pain but also a deep sadness.

Someone she loved dearly had died only a few months before our first meeting.
She realised that although she believed she had moved beyond her grief, she had never truly allowed herself to feel it.

That day, I guided her through an inner journey.

During this meditation, she met several Spiritual Beings who are deeply meaningful to her, including Our Lady.
They reminded her how precious she is. How deeply she is loved.

When she came back, she simply said,

“I will return to this place again. It gave me so much.”

We then moved into the healing part of the session.

As I prepared to begin, I felt I would simply become the channel for another Healer.
Immediately, I sensed a powerful Presence.
Every hair on my body stood on end.
My heart felt as though it had expanded beyond my chest.
I had the clear inner sense that it was the loved one who had passed away a few months earlier.
At the same time, another thought arose within me:

“I was meant to be present during her inner journey, but you didn’t realise it. So I am here now.”

It made me smile.
I decided I would tell my client later.

When I told her that a healing was about to begin and that Someone was already present, she immediately knew who I meant.
Without hesitation, she opened herself completely.

My hands simply followed the movements I was guided to make.
When the healing came to its natural end, we remained quietly present.
The Presence was still there.
A silent communication unfolded between them.

As she spoke afterwards, something had changed.
She felt more open.

She understood that the loved one whose Presence she had experienced during the healing would continue to accompany her — offering healing, guidance and teaching along her path.

Her grief had not disappeared.
Grief is not something we “finish.”
But she had stopped resisting it.

She had begun to welcome both her sadness and her hope.

She also saw her illness differently.

Not simply as something to fight against, but as an initiation — a path of profound transformation on which she no longer felt alone.

Everything she shared resonated deeply with what I had experienced during the session.
I could feel that she had gained something precious.

More trust.
More inner strength.
More peace.

Our work together continues.
Because healing is rarely a single moment.

It is a path that unfolds, one step at a time.

Every healing journey is unique. This story describes one client’s personal experience and reflects her own spiritual beliefs and mine. It is not intended as proof of a particular spiritual reality, but as an authentic account of a meaningful healing experience.
